rules for sky and looting item/god drops

All our points are calculated on a Exel sheet i made. Only Midgard Leaderships have access to all administration on the sheet, but members can still read and check out their points total up-to-date and each event summary report on our "Point Webpage". Point Webpage is located on different domain than our "Main" website.

On this Point Webpage, every event repots, total points, item distribution, pop items we have, will be listed.

This is a run through on what will be calculated:

Farming Related

- Zipacna: 1 Point
- Brigandish Blade: 1 Point
- Faust: 1 Point
- Steam Cleaner: 1 Point
- Olla Grande: 1 Point
- Despot: 1 Point
- Ullikummi: 1 Point
- Mother Globe: 1 Point

Gods Related

- Byakko: 1 Point
- Seiryu: 1 Point
- Suzaku: 1 Point
- Genbu: 1 Point
- Kirin: 8 Points

Additionally members will also get extra points based on the criteria below:

Ro'Maeve Water/Steam Cleaner/Diorite Farming

+1 Point for every hour spent on farming these items, halved the points when we get no drops. (eg. You get 3 full points for spending 3 hours on farming and get the item drop, 1.5 points if no drop)

Certain bonus points will be rewarded after spending some time in Sky.
We will also rewards members with points for providing pop items outside event time:

- Curtana: 1 point
- Ro'maeve Water/Diorite: 1 Point
- Gem of North/Summerstone/Springstone: 4 Points
- Winterstone/Gem of East/Gem of South/Gem of West/Autumnstone: 2 Points
- God Seals: 1 Point

Additionally +1 bonus point will also be rewarded to those that came early or ontime to events.
On the other hand, if you miss events on purpose without valid reasons will get you negative points.


There really is no reason to be in a Sky Linkshell if you do not participate. A lot of us work hard to farm items. We put in the many hours to camp the various Notorious Monsters. We tolerate all the drama and conflicts that occur. And, we still persevere so that we can get our items to spawn gods.

To those who have attended or have sincerely tried to attend each event, I salute and thank you for your dedication and loyalty.

To those who have other priorities besides Sky, perhaps a Sky Linkshell is currently not for you. There is no reason for you to be in a Sky Linkshell if you do not make an effort to attend every event. I would rather have a few dedicated members whom I know I can rely upon. Then many more members will be encouraged to show up.

Unless you have good reason, if you are logged onto the game during a Sky Event, you should be in attendance.


Examples of allowable instances where you may miss a Sky Event:

1. Dynamis
2. Real Life

There may be other instances that I have missed. We will handle those on a case-by-case basis.

If members continue to purposely miss events they will be kicked from Midgard.



Policies

In order to join Midgard, a candidate must meet the following criteria to begin the admission process:

1. Minimum level of 70 on your main job.*
2. You must have Sky access - Zilart Mizzion 12 completed
3. Sea and Salvage access optional
4. You will drop any Sky competing Linkpearl you previously owned before joining Midgard
5. Barring unforeseen circumstances, you are willing to consistently attend Linkshell Events:

- Tuesday
Starting/Gathering time: 12.00 PM EST (Duration 3-4 hrs)
- Thursday
Starting/Gathering time: 12.00 PM EST (Duration 3-4 hrs)
- Saturday
Starting/Gathering time: 12.00 PM EST (Duration Varies)

6. We expect you to fully attend or at least most of Midgard events when accepted. If you are going to be away or busy during next few weeks/months after submitting application, please don't bother applying. Come back and re-submit your application when you are sure that your schedule is free.

7. You are willing to receive constructive criticism that will help to strengthen your role within Midgard.

* Mage jobs can get away with being 65. However, melee jobs should be 70+ to be more effective. This is especially true for tanking jobs such as Paladin and Ninja.

*** Applicants who are accepted will be given a 2-3 week probationary Trial Membership. Trial members will still acquire points from events, however they will not be able to lot on any items unless they are trashed items (No Midgard members want it).

After the 2-3 Weeks Trial period, the Leadership will post a poll and its active members will decide if the applicant should remain in Midgard.


Code of Conduct

As a member of Midgard, you are expected to treat your Linkshell mates with respect.

We are working together for a common goal, so it is important that we get along. If it is apparent that someone is insulted or displeased with what you are doing, please stop, regardless of whether you intended it as a joke or not. Not everyone shares the same humor or values.

Disputes, fights, or anything of that nature among Linkshell members must be kept at a private level at all times.

The rest of the Linkshell does not need to be involved in any personal quarrels. In such an event, the Midgard Leadership will mediate the issue between the two conflicting parties privately. Name calling with the intent to harm, discredit, or antagonize over the Linkshell Chat will not be tolerated.

Midgard should be your only Sky Linkshell.

This is to help prevent any “Conflict of Interest” issues.We place a lot of effort on the events we do for our members. Hence we do not consider it fair for others to use Lineage for money and/or equipment while still maintaining their loyalty to another Sky LS.

Patience is a Virtue

As you can see, it takes a lot of hard work to farm those pop items and fulfill member's request on certain items. So we expect that all of you have the patience ready when joining an end game linkshell. Don't expect to get your desire items right away when joining an end game linkshell. It takes time and more important, don't complain or whine when another linkshell member get your desire items before you do. That's just how every single endgame linkshell works. All items, armors, equips drops doesnt always favour us. Sometimes they can be generous, sometimes they can be stingy. The time will comes when it's time for you to get it.
